Viridia Bloom was founded by mother and daughter Karen and Lisa from a shared belief that the spaces we live in, and the objects we use everyday, quietly shape how we feel.

What began with a love for interiors and thoughtful living slowly grew into a carefully curated collection of faux florals, home decor, and personal accessories designed to bring warmth and beauty into everyday life.

Our Beginning

After more than twenty years working within healthcare and intensive care environments, Karen began reflecting more deeply on the importance of comfort and the spaces people return to every day.

"When you spend so much time around urgency and illness, you begin to realise how deeply our surroundings affect the way we feel. I found myself longing for spaces that felt warmer and more comforting. They're places that remind you there is still beauty in everyday life."

Over time, interiors and thoughtful objects became more than decoration. They became a way of bringing warmth and emotional comfort back into the home.

For Lisa, the inspiration came from frustration with how reptitive and disposable many accessories had become. 

"So many pieces on the market felt identical, and the ones that felt more distinctive or personal were often far too expensive for me to justify purchasing. The clips I bought would deteriorate after only a few months, and even when they looked nice, they rarely felt quite right to wear."

Over time, she became increasingly drawn to pieces that felt more thoughtful in both design and quality: accessories with personality and comfort that people would genuinely enjoy living with every day.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

The name Viridia comes from the Latin word viridis, meaning green. To us, it evokes life, renewal, and nature.

Bloom represents both flowers in their most beautiful moment and the idea of flourishing in everyday life.

Our brand began with faux florals. We wanted to create flowers that did not simply look beautiful, but felt natural and alive to the touch.

Over time, Viridia Bloom naturally expanded into home decor and personal accessories. To us, these things have always been connected. The objects we live with every day subtly becomes part of our routines, our homes, and the way we care for ourselves.

Inspired by Renaissance art, Mediterranean warmth, quiet interiors, and nature itself, our world is timeless and intentionally lived-in.

We work closely with experienced workshops and long-term supplier partners who share our attention to detail, material quality, and craftsmanship.
